Site visit at slab reinforcement.
A site visit was arranged to study the slab reinforcement taking place in one of the university's construction site. Site is located within the campus of University being one of the many constructions taking place as per the plan. This site was a minor part of the big architectural flower design structure to be constructed in the future.
Following concepts were studied:
1. One way, two way slab reinforcement, difference and how to identify them practically by observation.
2. Different thickness of bars used for the grade fe500.
3.Basic concept of casting a column and the procedure.
4. Determination of Provision of extra reinforcement or curtailing at certain places by practically observation.
5. Concept of sunk and water proofing area.
6. Placement of main and distribution bars, how to manage and determine.
This site visit was arranged by the help of respected head of department and respected Dr.S.M.Pore sir. Under the guidance of respected faculty members Anirudh chavan, Shamali Janjal and Suraj Bhise with the help of Site engineers.
