World Wetlands Day 2020

Today the Civil Engineering Department in association with Forest Department Raigad Region celebrated world wetlands day. The Civil engineering batch swear a vow for conservation of wetlands in future in front of dignitaries from the forest department and civil department's staff. This event was marked by the presence of Respected Dr.S.M.Pore sir,Dr.S.R.Bhagat sir and other respected civil engineering faculty members.

The attendees of this program where taken to a visit of the innovative project MIYAWAKI Method of plantation. This site had over 1750 plants of 40 different types planted in a compact region. One such other site was adopted by civil engineering department for a period of few years until they are grown upto certain age. This site will be taken care by the students of department. Students being divided into teams will take care of this plants turn by turn.
